Training process

Training needs analysis

If you have specific requirements regarding the training programme, we will carry out a training needs analysis for you. This will guide us on which aspects of the programme should receive greater emphasis, so that the training programme meets your specific needs.

What will you gain?

icon

Clearer data understanding - You will organize key data analysis concepts, recognize data types and sources, and learn how to define the right analytical goal so your conclusions are accurate and useful in business.

icon

Confident tool selection - You will see when Excel is the better choice and when Power BI makes more sense, so you can pick the right tool faster and avoid working in an environment that limits your analysis.

icon

Stronger Excel skills - You will learn how to structure data, build clear charts, and perform core analysis in Excel, helping you draw conclusions faster and present them in a way others can understand.

icon

Reliable data preparation - You will practice importing data from TXT and CSV files as well as from Access databases, so you can prepare datasets on your own without manual copying or messy file handling.

icon

Automation with Power Query - You will learn advanced importing and data transformation in Power Query, allowing you to reduce repetitive work and prepare consistent datasets for reporting much more efficiently.

icon

Practical DAX basics - You will understand what DAX is used for and how to build basic calculations with it, so you can extend your analyses with custom logic and control how key metrics are calculated.

icon

Power BI reports and dashboards - You will learn how to build dashboards, filter, group, and aggregate data, and create reports in Power BI, so you can present results in a format useful to teams and managers.

icon

Market-ready skills - You will explore current data analysis trends and skills valued by employers, making it easier to assess your strengths, plan your growth, and prepare for more advanced responsibilities.

What are the prerequisites for participating in the training?

icon

Basic computer skills - You should be comfortable working in Windows, using folders and files, and launching or installing programs so you can focus on analysis rather than basic computer handling.

icon

Basic Excel skills - You should know how to use Excel at a basic level, including opening files, editing cells, copying data, and working in a worksheet, so you can keep up with the course exercises.

icon

Working with data tables - You should understand how data tables, columns, and rows are structured and be able to read a simple dataset, making imports, data cleanup, and analysis much easier for you.

icon

Logical thinking - You should be able to spot relationships and draw simple conclusions from numbers and summaries, as this will help you work with filters, aggregation, and basic DAX concepts.
