Training process

Training needs analysis

If you have specific requirements regarding the training programme, we will carry out a training needs analysis for you. This will guide us on which aspects of the programme should receive greater emphasis, so that the training programme meets your specific needs.

What will you gain?

icon

Faster data entry - You will enter, edit, and copy data more efficiently, use keyboard shortcuts, and apply Paste Special, so you can shorten routine spreadsheet work and move through tasks much faster.

icon

Cleaner, clearer worksheets - You will format numbers, dates, and text correctly, use tables, Format Painter, and conditional formatting, so your sheets become easier to read, review, and analyze.

icon

Reliable formulas - You will master relative and absolute references plus key functions such as SUM, AVERAGE, MAX, MIN, and IF, so you can build formulas that stay accurate and dependable.

icon

Conditional data analysis - You will use COUNTIF, SUMIF, SUMIFS, and basic VLOOKUP to calculate results by criteria and match information across tables, making your everyday analysis much more precise.

icon

Smarter date and text work - You will calculate date differences, set deadlines, and clean or split text with functions like LEFT, RIGHT, and CONCATENATE, making raw data easier to prepare for reporting.

icon

Linking data across files - You will perform calculations between worksheets and workbooks, use consolidation tools, and manage links, so you can combine scattered data into one consistent working model.

icon

Faster reporting and insights - You will sort, filter, and summarize data, create subtotals, and build pivot tables, helping you draw conclusions faster and prepare useful reports for your team or clients.

icon

Ready-to-use reports - You will create charts, set up clean printouts for large tables, and record simple macros, so you can automate repetitive steps and deliver reports in a polished final format.

Training programme

The training program corresponds to the training program Microsoft Excel - formulas, functions, charts and an introduction to pivot tables and macros.

What are the prerequisites for participating in the training?

icon

Basic Excel navigation - You should move around a worksheet comfortably, select cells and ranges, and open and save files, so you can focus on functions instead of basic program handling.

icon

Working with worksheet data - You should be able to enter, edit, and delete data in cells and understand rows and columns, because the course builds these skills further in practical exercises.

icon

Simple table formatting - You should know the basics of formatting, such as changing fonts, alignment, and number formats, so it is easier for you to move into more advanced worksheet tasks.

icon

Basic formula experience - You should have some initial experience with simple formulas, such as adding values in cells, because the course focuses on developing your work with functions further.
