Training process

Training needs analysis

If you have specific requirements regarding the training programme, we will carry out a training needs analysis for you. This will guide us on which aspects of the programme should receive greater emphasis, so that the training programme meets your specific needs.

What will you gain?

icon

Efficient data import - You will learn how to pull data from Excel files, PDFs, and databases, so you can build repeatable report refresh processes without copying information manually from source files.

icon

Automatic file consolidation - You will master combining data from multiple worksheets and XLSX files automatically, making it easier to create one consistent dataset even when your sources change on a regular basis.

icon

Better data preparation - You will learn how to clean and transform data, work with dates, time, text, and numbers, and make sure your analysis is accurate, clear, and ready for reliable reporting.

icon

More with Power Query - You will explore parameters and the basics of M language, which will help you build more flexible queries, manage data sources more easily, and reduce manual report adjustments.

icon

Reliable data modeling - You will understand how to build a data model, define relationships between tables, and use hierarchies, so your reports stay consistent and answer business questions more effectively.

icon

Practical DAX skills - You will create calculated columns and measures and use DAX functions such as CALCULATE, FILTER, RELATED, and SUMX to build metrics that match real business reporting needs.

icon

Clear interactive reports - You will build reports with filters, slicers, maps, and average, minimum, and maximum analysis, so you can present data in a way that is intuitive and useful for end users.

icon

Collaboration in Power BI Service - You will learn how to share reports, assign access rights, and work in the browser, making it easier to bring your analysis into everyday teamwork and stakeholder communication.

Training programme

  • sharing reports,
  • granting access rights,
  • dashboards.

What are the prerequisites for participating in the training?

icon

Power BI basics - You should already move confidently around Power BI Desktop, load simple data, and create basic visuals, so you can focus on intermediate topics instead of the absolute basics.

icon

Working with tabular data - You should understand tables, columns, and rows and be able to work with data in Excel or a similar tool, because the course assumes conscious data preparation and analysis.

icon

Basic data analysis - You should be able to interpret basic metrics, filter data, and understand simple relationships in reports, so you can move more smoothly into modeling and calculations in Power BI.

icon

Readiness for hands-on work - You should be ready to complete exercises on your computer and test different solution variants on your own, because the training is strongly based on practical data work.
