1. Basics of VSM

2. Essential tools and concepts in VSM

3. Preparation for mapping

  • discussion of the symbols used in current state mapping.

4. Analysis of the current state of production processes

  • familiarization with production processes,
  • selection of areas for mapping,
  • collection of additional data and verification of the collected information.

5. Analysis of mapping results

  • drawing the current state map based on the collected data,
  • identification of losses in the process and calculation of key indicators.

6. Theoretical foundations of future state design

  • design of the future state of the production process,
  • introduction to pull system tools and Lean techniques.

7. Creation and analysis of the future state map

  • creation of the future state map for selected product families,
  • proposals for improvements and analysis of potential benefits after implementing changes.

8. Simulation of improved processes

  • conducting a simulation based on the designed future state map,
  • comparison of results before and after process optimization.

What are the prerequisites for participating in the training?
